A thrilling first-hand account of a Sasquatch encounter in the Tongass National Forest has been shared on the YouTube channel Cryptid Mysterious. The encounter took place in 2008 during a grizzly bear hunt led by a seasoned guide.
The eyewitness, Sam, describes the forest as perpetually damp and shadowy, with a thick layer of moss covering the ground. This moss not only silences their steps but also those of any bears in the area, making it difficult to determine who is stalking whom.
On the third day of the hunt, Sam and his guide came across a second set of tracks that were not from a bear. These prints were over 24 inches long and 10 inches wide, with some of them being at least a foot deep into the moss. They realized they were now tracking both a bear and a Sasquatch.
As they continued through the dense and treacherous forest, they suddenly encountered a hideous monster standing up about 50 feet from them. Sam describes the stench as the foulest smelling odor imaginable, overwhelming them almost to the point of gagging. They quickly ducked down, hiding in the tall grass and waiting for what seemed like 30 minutes or more, expecting the Sasquatch to reveal itself at any moment.
The following day, they returned to the same location, knowing a huge Grizzly was still on the prowl. However, they soon discovered that the bear had moved out, and now there were two Sasquatch in the area. They decided to track these two sets as far as they could without getting into a compromised position.
Eventually, they came across a very large decaying tree on the ground, covered in moss. Both sets of prints were present around the entire trunk, indicating that the Sasquatch were harvesting grubs from the decaying tree.
This captivating first-hand account is a must-watch for any Bigfoot enthusiast. The eyewitness's detailed description of the encounter provides a chilling insight into the world of Sasquatch. Be sure to check out the video on YouTube and share your thoughts with the Bigfoot community.
