Florida Family's Encounters: Evidence of a Young Bigfoot?

A haunting encounter with a possible Bigfoot on Lumi Island is the focus of a video by the YouTube channel Dixie Cryptid. The witness, who grew up in Washington state, recounts a childhood experience from 1977 when they were playing hide-and-seek on the beach with friends. As they counted to a hundred, the witness crawled out from under a rowboat and noticed that the sun was setting and the beach had grown darker. They started towards the road and, about 50 feet from the opening in the hedge, they saw a human-like figure with its shoulders and head staring at them from over the hedge. Believing it to be one of their friends, they called out to it, but there was no response. The witness felt a sense of unease and realized that something wasn't right about the figure. They stood there for a few minutes, staring at each other, before the figure turned and walked away. The witness thought it might have been a Bigfoot, and their recent interest in the subject led them to tell their sister about the encounter. Their sister then revealed that she and the other kids had noticed a figure trying to avoid being seen over the hedge while they were looking for a place to hide on the beach. They had all run back to the trailer, unaware that the witness had seen the figure as well. The witness also recalls their grandfather telling them that the first thing Bigfoot would do if he came into the house was borrow their shoes. The witness reflects on this memory and wonders if Bigfoot was simply trying to see if they still wore the same size shoes.
