New York's Steuben County: Recent Bigfoot Sightings and Encounters

Bigfoot Sightings in Western New York: Steuben County If you're a Bigfoot enthusiast, you'll be excited to learn about some intriguing sightings in Western New York, specifically in Steuben County. These stories were recently shared on the YouTube channel Odd & Untold, and as a fellow Bigfoot believer and curator for Squatchable, I'm eager to bring them to your attention. The first story comes from 2022, when a turkey hunter named Bill Frisk had a daylight encounter with a Sasquatch approximately 75 yards away in Irwin, a town in Steuben County. Bill was hunting at the base of a tree when he noticed something walking on two legs. He described the creature as being about 7 feet tall, with dark reddish-brown fur from head to feet. After observing the Sasquatch for four to five seconds, it moved behind a tree and disappeared from his sight. Shortly after, Bill heard an object hit a tree about 25 feet up, followed by the object hitting the ground. Although he couldn't determine what the object was, he described it as sounding like a rock. Matthew Moneymaker, of Finding Bigfoot and the BFRO website, conducted a follow-up investigation. Bill Frisk, a 55-year-old retired corrections officer, shared his experience and mentioned that his oldest son, who stands 5'10", later visited the site and estimated the Sasquatch to be at least one foot taller than his son. The distance between Bill and the creature was approximately 75 yards, and Bill was certain it was not a bear or another human. The second story takes us back to November 2012, when a resident observed a Sasquatch near homes on the outskirts of Bath, another town in Steuben County. The witness, Allan Y, couldn't specify the exact date but recalled the incident happening around 2 or 3 a.m. He saw the creature on the edge of the village of Bath and described it as moving silently and quickly. Although he couldn't make out any distinct features, he noticed that the Sasquatch was large and had broad shoulders.
