A new video has surfaced on YouTube that is sure to pique the interest of Bigfoot enthusiasts. The video, posted by the YouTube channel Squatch Ranger, explores the legend of the "Chicken Man" in El Reno, Oklahoma.
According to the video, in 1971, the Kansas City Times released an article about a mysterious creature that was stealing chickens from a local farm near El Reno. The creature was dubbed the "Chicken Man" by the press. The farmer discovered bloody handprints on the chicken coop that measured 7 inches long and 5 inches wide. The thumb appeared to be very unusual, possibly injured or deformed, and resembled a gorilla but was more like a human.
The video also mentions a similar story reported by the North American Wood Ape Conservancy in 1970 in Canadian County, also near El Reno. Two hunters saw a shadow figure with two red blinking eyes. The shadow splashed into the river, sounding as big as an icebox hitting the water. They watched as a tall, upright animal ran away in a zigzag pattern, leaving the hunters' jaws hanging open.
The area is also famous for the Lucky Star Casino footage from 2002, where a Bigfoot was caught on the casino's security camera near a dumpster behind the casino. The tribe allowed the investigator to view the tape, but now claims to have destroyed it.
The video features Thomas Crabtree, a member of the Native Oklahoma Bigfoot Group Organization and the North Canadian River Project. Crabtree and his team are conducting a nighttime investigation using thermals, listening devices, bionic ears, parabolic mics, and even launching bait stations to attract the creatures.
Crabtree mentions that he has found tracks west of the bridge on a sandy bank that he believes belong to Bigfoot. He also mentions that there have been multiple sighting reports up and down the river for years.
Brian Terell, another member of the Native Oklahoma Bigfoot Research Organization, also appears in the video. Terell mentions that there are 381 cases in the organization's files, with some new interesting ones. He also mentions finding a tiny footprint and tree structure that he believes belong to a Bigfoot.
