A new video posted on The Unexplained Universe YouTube channel has caught the attention of the Bigfoot community. The video, titled "The Ultimate Proof of Bigfoot's Existence | Chasing Bigfoot The Quest for Truth," delves into the evidence and research surrounding the elusive creature known as Bigfoot or Sasquatch.
Across America and Canada, thousands of reports, photos, and videos of Bigfoot encounters pour in each year. The video suggests that there has to be a minimum of 4,000 animals roaming North America, and public interest in the creature is only increasing.
The video features interviews with various Bigfoot investigators, including Derek Randles, co-founder of the Olympic Project, an association dedicated to documenting the existence of Bigfoot in the Pacific Northwest. Randles explains that the Olympic Project started about 9 years ago as a comprehensive and aggressive camera trap program and has since grown into a study project. Documentation is everything, he says, and the project has compiled a large database of information on the creature.
The video also discusses the different forms of evidence that have been discovered, including footprint casts, handprints, vocalizations, and hair samples. John Andrews, a Bigfoot investigator, shows a footprint cast found in Northern California in 1958. The footprint has an hourglass shape, which is not uncommon in the Bigfoot world, and the toes are like peas in a pod. Additionally, the footprint has a double ball of the foot, which is not a human characteristic.
Michael Johnson found an unusual handprint on his truck after a Bigfoot investigation. The handprint has a thumb that is small in comparison to the size of the palm, which was about 7 to 8 inches wide. The dermal ridges in the hand are also much smaller than those found in humans.
When it comes to audio recordings, Robert Swain, a Bigfoot field investigator and co-founder of the Arkansas Primate Evidence Society, explains that there are different ways to analyze the recordings, including spectrographs and waveforms. John Andrews plays a few recordings of what is believed to be Bigfoot vocalizations, including a juvenile call and a series of whoops.
Hair samples are also often collected and analyzed when it is believed that a Bigfoot has been in an area. Doug High, an analyst of potential Bigfoot hairs, explains that he looks for a tapered end and human scaling. He also notes that Sasquatch hairs are thought to have very little or no medulla, which is the pigmented core found in most animal hairs.
The lack of substantial physical evidence, such as a body or skeleton, raises questions about the existence of Bigfoot. However, the video argues that the physical reality of Bigfoot has never really turned out, and that there is still much to be learned about the creature.
I encourage readers to watch the video and draw their own conclusions. The evidence presented in the video is compelling, and it is clear that many people are dedicated to uncovering the truth about Bigfoot. Whether you are a skeptic or a believer, the video is worth watching for anyone interested in the creature.
