A recent video posted on YouTube by the channel LW titled "Bigfoot Best Evidence" has been making the rounds in the Bigfoot community. The presenter, Cliff Barkman, is a Bigfoot specialist and crypto zoologist who has been conducting field research since 1994. He has been on expeditions in 46 states and five continents, and has served as an evidence analyst on the TV show "Finding Bigfoot." Barkman and his wife also own and curate the North American Bigfoot Center in Boring, Oregon, which features the largest public collection of Bigfoot evidence in the Pacific Northwest. In the video, Barkman presents what he believes to be the best evidence available for the existence of Sasquatch as a real species. He explains that evidence is something that supports what you think you know, while proof is the end all be all that is it, there is no other way around it. For Sasquatch, proof will essentially be a dead body, but DNA evidence may lead to that. Barkman emphasizes that science is a process of asking questions, gathering evidence, and testing hypotheses, and that scientists are always trying to prove themselves wrong. Barkman then presents four indisputable facts about Sasquatch: for more than 400 years people have reported seeing large hair-covered manlike animals in the wilderness areas of North America; sightings of these animals continue today; for over 70 years people have been finding and photographing and casting sets of very large human-shaped tracks; and the cultural histories of many Native American and First Nations people include stories and beliefs about non-human people of the wild, many of which bear a striking resemblance to the hairy manlike creatures reported today. Barkman then goes on to discuss the evidence for Sasquatch, including native accounts, historical and settler accounts, contemporary witnesses, sound recordings, photographs, and hair samples. He emphasizes that Sasquatches are a perfectly normal biological species and should be approached as such. I found this video to be informative and well-presented. It's always exciting to see new evidence and perspectives on the existence of Sasquatch, and Barkman's expertise and experience in the field lend credibility to his arguments. I encourage all Bigfoot enthusiasts to check out the video and see for themselves.
