A tragic tale of a missing person and a possible Bigfoot encounter has been making the rounds on YouTube. The story comes from a high school biology teacher who took a group of students on a survivalist training trip in the Yakima region of Washington state.
According to the teacher, the group spent three days in the first location, where they built a timber teepee and learned about edible plants in the forest. They then moved to a second location, where they built individual debris huts.
On the second night at the second location, the teacher was awakened by a flash in his eyelids and discovered that one of the student's air mattresses had caught fire. The group quickly put out the fire, but noticed that one of their members, Jon, was missing along with his sleeping bag.
A search ensued, and Jon's body was eventually found several miles from the camp, in the Clat River. His head was turned around backwards and his left leg had been torn from the socket. His shirt was still on, but his lower clothes had been removed.
The teacher notes that none of the group's members could have carried Jon such a great distance, and that it is unknown how he came to be where he was and in the state that he was in.
Some viewers of the YouTube video have speculated that a Bigfoot may have been responsible for Jon's death. The teacher himself notes that the Sasquatch or Bigfoot is very unpredictable, with both nice and unpredictable nefarious personalities.
