Ohio Woman Discovers Enigmatic Creature Living in Her Cellar

A subscriber of The Wolf Who Cried Cryptid YouTube channel recently shared her eerie encounters with a strange creature living in the cellar of her childhood home in Southeastern Ohio. Chloe, the subscriber, had no idea what this thing could have been until she saw one of the channel's episodes about crawlers, which made her realize that she had been dealing with one of these creatures herself. The house Chloe lived in was very old, having been built in 1845, and had no basement. Instead, it had an externally accessible cellar with two entrances, one connected to their garage and the other outside the home. Over the years, Chloe experienced strange occurrences involving the cellar, such as possums and raccoons dying down there and things from around her home going missing, only to be found in the cellar. One notable thing about the cellar was that it was nasty, with a dirt floor, damp, dark, and with 100% certainty that no one was taking a toothbrush down there to scrub anything. However, Chloe found new and used toothbrushes, as well as toys belonging to her, her brother, and other children from around her neighborhood, in the cellar. The weird things happening in her home led Chloe to believe that it could be attributed to a ghost, but she soon realized that it was something much more terrifying. One night, when she was 13 years old, she took her then-boyfriend to the cellar to explore the spooky and scary location. However, what she saw that night changed her life forever. As Chloe was pulling the heavy doors open, she barely had time to respond as a creature was sprinting inhumanly fast up the stairs. She described it as long and stretch with pale limbs that looked like they shouldn't be able to support it, with whitest skin with a tinge of gray that barely fit over its bones. Chloe barely had time to make out the face of this creature, but she saw a black gaping mouth with a jaw that looked almost dislocated and black eyes. Chloe is still scared of centipedes because of how this creature moved, and she is convinced that it was watching her all those years as she grew up, playing with her toys, brushing her teeth, and doing other things. She always felt like something was watching her, and something about the house felt alive to her.
