A new and intriguing first-hand account of an encounter with a possible Sasquatch has been shared on the YouTube channel Sasquatch Theory. The witness, Ryan from Alaska, describes his experience while hiking in the Matsu Valley. Ryan was taking a break during his hike when he heard a whistle off to his left. Thinking it was strange, he continued along the game trail and heard a second whistle. This time, the whistle came from his 11 o'clock, under the ridge where it curves around and there's a lot of brush. He stopped and waited, but couldn't see anything. He then heard something moving in the brush and realized it was following him. Ryan moved to the edge of the tree line, wanting to have some cover in case it was a bear. He waited and listened, and the sound came up the ridge and paralleled him as he moved. It was behind a brush line, about 40-50 feet away. Ryan couldn't see anything, but he could hear the brush being disturbed. As Ryan and his dogs moved, the sound changed direction and followed them. The dogs left Ryan's side and went about 50 feet down a game trail, watching the sound and then watching Ryan. Ryan got a weird vibe from this behavior, as it was not typical for a bear. The sound then moved to the right behind some saplings and paralleled Ryan on a game trail. It was making enough noise in the brush that Ryan could tell it was something big. This encounter is a fascinating account of a possible Sasquatch encounter and shows the intelligence and awareness of these elusive creatures.
