Man's Chilling 1988 Bigfoot Encounter Near Bug Lake, Ogden Monty

A thrilling account of a Bigfoot encounter in the Wasatch Mountains has been shared on the YouTube channel Rocky Mountain Sasquatch. The witness, James, describes an encounter he and his best friend had back in 1988, when they were exploring the mountain roads late at night. As they were driving along a dirt road, they noticed something pacing them in the trees. At first, they thought it might be an elk or a moose, but as it drew closer, they realized it was something much more extraordinary. The creature ran alongside the truck, keeping pace with them effortlessly. James describes it as being at least 7.5 feet tall, with broad shoulders and a conical head covered in dark, almost black hair. The witness's friend, who was driving, became frightened and accelerated to nearly 30 mph. The creature easily kept up, running past the truck and disappearing into the trees. James and his friend were understandably shaken by the encounter and didn't return to the area for several years. What's particularly interesting about this account is that James had very little knowledge of Bigfoot before the encounter. He had heard of a few sightings around Highway 84 in Riverdell and had seen some reports in the Ogden Standard, but he had never taken the subject very seriously. However, the experience left a lasting impression on him, and he continues to camp in the area to this day, hoping to catch another glimpse of the elusive creature. The team at Rocky Mountain Sasquatch has investigated dozens of Sasquatch sightings in the area, and they believe that the Wasatch Mountains are a hot spot for Bigfoot activity.
