In a chilling interview, Fred Roehl shares his terrifying encounters with Sasquatch in Alaska. Roehl, a resident of subarctic Alaska, has had several run-ins with these elusive creatures, but one incident in particular, which took place on the Nuyakuk River in Tikchik State Park, has stuck with him all these years.
Roehl and his family were panning for gold when they unwittingly entered the Sasquatch's territory. They found themselves trapped throughout the night in a life-or-death situation, as they became the prey of a super-predator that should not exist.
The interview, conducted by the YouTube channel Sasquatch Theory, delves into the harrowing details of Roehl's encounter. He describes the creature as a dark silhouette, swaying back and forth in the Alders. Roehl's major encounter occurred in 2006, while on a gold panning prospecting mission with his uncle. As they were settling in for the night, Roehl noticed a dark movement outside the window. Thinking it was a bear, he and his cousin grabbed their guns and flashlights, only to be met with three sets of glowing eyes.
The creature, described as having big black translucent marbles for eyes and ashen gray skin, looked ancient and wrinkled. Roehl, in a state of panic, fired three shots through the wall, causing the creature to scream and the pot they had been cooking in to ring like a tuning fork.
Roehl's story is a chilling reminder of the power and presence of Sasquatch in Alaska. It's a reminder that these creatures are not just a legend, but a reality that can be both terrifying and awe-inspiring.
