Bigfoot is back and saving the world in a new action-packed show that will take you on a wild ride through the 70s! The YouTube channel FOX59 News has recently released a video about a new series that features Bigfoot as the main character. As a Bigfoot believer and enthusiast, I was thrilled to come across this video and share it with our community. In the video, Dakota Jones, the writer and director of the show, describes it as a Saturday morning action movie. Bigfoot comes out of retirement, finds his ex-wife, reunites with his father, and stops Joseph Stalin from taking over the world. The show is set in the 70s, making it easier to create a plot without the interference of cell phones and other modern technology. The idea for the show came from Dakota's love of terrible B-movies from the 70s. He wanted to create something that paid homage to those classic films while also featuring Bigfoot as the main character. Dakota describes Bigfoot as a rough and tumble guy, similar to characters like Rambo and Captain Kirk. He also mentions that many characters in movie history are based on Bigfoot, including Chewbacca and the characters from Harry and the Hendersons. Bigfoot himself, who is playing the lead role in the show, talks about how he has avoided being found for so long. He explains that it's become increasingly difficult with the advent of cell phones and other modern technology. However, he has found that staying away from people and exploring the national parks is still relatively easy. The show is based on a real retelling of Bigfoot's biography and is presented as a live documentary. It will be showing at the French Dot theater from July 18th through the 21st and again from July 20th through the 28th. Shows will be Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 3:30 pm. I am thrilled to see Bigfoot being featured in a new television show. It's always exciting to see our favorite cryptid getting the attention he deserves. I can't wait to see Bigfoot save the world and take on Joseph Stalin in this action-packed series. I highly recommend checking out the video and, if you're in the area, catching a show at the French Dot theater.
