A former park ranger shares chilling horror stories from the woods I'm always on the lookout for intriguing Bigfoot-related content on YouTube. Recently, I came across a video from the channel Old Hillbilly Horror, where a former park ranger shares some truly terrifying stories from his time in the wilderness. The ranger begins by recounting a night when he received four calls about vacation homes being broken into in a wildlife preserve in West Virginia. Upon arriving at the first location, he discovered a scene straight out of a horror movie. A deer had been brutally attacked, with claw marks and bite marks covering its body. The ranger described the wounds as being too large to be caused by a bear or coyote, leaving him utterly baffled. As he tried to help the vacationers who had been traumatized by the incident, they became hysterical upon seeing the ranger covered in blood. They initially thought he had rabies or some other affliction, but the ranger assured them it was the deer's blood. Despite his attempts to calm them down, the couple was clearly shaken and quickly left the scene. The ranger then followed the trail of blood and claw marks, which led him to a pond behind the house. There, he found signs of a struggle and strange, massive tracks that he couldn't quite identify. He described them as looking like a man wearing swim fins, but much larger than any human could be. The ranger's story only gets more chilling as he recounts visiting another vacation home, where a door had been forced open and food cans torn into with sharp claws. A small puddle of blood was found next to one of the cans, leaving the ranger and the homeowner utterly mystified and concerned for their safety. I found these stories both fascinating and unsettling. While the ranger never explicitly mentions Sasquatch, the strange tracks and brutal attacks on wildlife certainly leave room for speculation. If you're a fan of Bigfoot lore and enjoy hearing firsthand accounts of strange and unexplained phenomena, I highly recommend checking out this video on Old Hillbilly Horror's YouTube channel. And, as always, if you have any Bigfoot-related stories or sightings to share, please submit them to Squatchable for further investigation.
