New Bigfoot Sightings: Hickory Ridge, San Gabriel Wilderness, and Beyond

Bigfoot sightings and evidence continue to surface, leaving many intrigued and convinced of its existence. In a recent video from the YouTube channel Lainey and Ben, they explore the 10 most shocking Bigfoot sightings and encounters that will make you question if you should venture into the wilderness alone. One of the standout sightings is the Hickory Bigfoot sighting in August 2019. Hickory resident and Bigfoot hunter Doug Teague captured what he claims to be one of the clearest videos of a North Carolina Bigfoot ever seen. Doug was walking his dog, Crazy Daisy, through the woods just outside of the city when he heard a loud knocking sound in the distance. As he got closer, he spotted an unrecognizable creature on top of a ridge and began to record it. Doug then followed the creature's huge footprints and took casts of them. An anthropologist later looked at the footprint casts and thought that they belonged to a creature around 15 feet tall. Other experts agreed that the footprints looked genuine, leaving many to wonder if Doug really did have a Bigfoot encounter. Another fascinating sighting is from San Gabriel, California, in 2020. A hiker in the San Gabriel Wilderness pulled out his camera to record the stunning landscape, but as he panned around, he spotted something in the trees below and zoomed in. The large creature appeared to be about 10 to 15 feet tall, although strangely, it didn't seem to move. In 2015, a mushroom hunter in Northern Illinois got more than he bargained for while foraging in a mushroom forest. He uploaded footage to his YouTube channel, Tomorrow's Garden, of what appears to be a Bigfoot-like creature in the background. Although some have questioned the authenticity of the video, the mushroom hunter did do a follow-up video six years later, adding to the mystery. In the United Kingdom, Bigfoot enthusiast Lee Brickley claims to have found tracks and claw marks that prove an ape-like beast is living in the forests of Britain. In 2021, Lee found the prints in Cannock Chase, a 26 square mile forest that has been plagued with paranormal activity and supernatural phenomena for centuries. These sightings and encounters continue to leave many questioning if Bigfoot is real or not. While some are convinced, others remain skeptical, but one thing is for sure - the mystery surrounding Bigfoot continues to captivate and intrigue many.
