Warrens' Paranormal Investigation: Injured Bigfoot Sought Community's Help

In a video from the YouTube channel America’s Strangest History, paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren recount their encounter with a Bigfoot creature in Tennessee. Known for their work on cases like the Amityville Horror house and the Annabelle doll, the Warrens were approached by a community in Tennessee who were experiencing a Bigfoot “menace” that was terrorizing their children. At first, the Warrens were hesitant to get involved, as they typically dealt with hauntings and possessions rather than cryptids. However, they decided to investigate after learning that the community was surrounded by a dense forest and that the Bigfoot creature was believed to be intelligent and able to communicate telepathically. Lorraine Warren was able to pick up on the creature’s presence and even communicated with it, learning that it was injured and seeking help. She attempted to follow the creature, but ultimately lost its trail. Ed Warren believed that the creature was a physical manifestation of human will, or a “tulpa,” rather than an undiscovered animal species. I found this video to be particularly interesting. It’s not often that the paranormal and cryptozoology worlds overlap, and it’s intriguing to hear the Warrens’ perspective on the Bigfoot phenomenon.
