A new video from the YouTube channel Apes Among Us Podcast has been making waves in the Bigfoot community. The video, titled "Apes Among Us Episode 7: November Team — A week in Area X," shares the experiences of a team of researchers who spent a week in Area X, a location that has become synonymous with Bigfoot sightings and activity. The video begins with Brian Brown of the North American Wood Ape Conservancy (NAWAC) sitting next to a mud hole in Area X. He explains that the mud hole is always full of moisture, even during periods of drought, due to a nearby spring. It was at this very spot, back in 2000, that Alton Higgins, a wildlife biologist and member of NAWAC, discovered a series of 16-inch tracks that would change the course of Bigfoot research forever. The video then transitions to an interview with Alton Higgins, who shares the story of how he became involved in Bigfoot research. In 1998, while on vacation in Washington state, Alton and his cousin stumbled upon a trackway and three piles of scat in a meadow. Intrigued, Alton submitted a report to the BFRO (Bigfoot Field Research Organization) and soon became involved in their efforts to validate the existence of the wood ape in the Washington mountains. The video follows the November team, led by Brandon Lin, as they spend a week in Area X in September of this year. The team hiked a total of 38 miles in rough, rocky terrain, in search of Bigfoot evidence. They encountered several vocalizations, tree falls, and even had a few visual sightings. One of the most exciting moments of the week came when the team discovered a fresh trackway. The tracks were measured and documented, and the team collected samples of the surrounding soil and vegetation for further analysis. As a Bigfoot believer and a curator for Squatchable, I am thrilled to see the continued efforts of researchers like those at NAWAC. The dedication and hard work put in by the November team is truly inspiring, and their findings in Area X provide even more evidence that Bigfoot is out there, waiting to be discovered. If you're a Bigfoot enthusiast, I highly recommend checking out the Apes Among Us Podcast and their video "Apes Among Us Episode 7: November Team — A week in Area X." It's a fascinating look into the world of Bigfoot research and the ongoing efforts to validate the existence of these elusive creatures.
