A few days ago, I stumbled upon an intriguing video from the YouTube channel BBR Investigations, specifically from user Deborah Hatswell. The video, titled "A Werewolf Is Seen In The Candover Valley - UK Dogman Report 2000's," shares a captivating account of a witness named Willow who, as a child, had an extraordinary encounter with a creature she described as a werewolf or a UK Dogman. The video takes us to the Candover Valley, a unique rural community situated between Basingstoke and Winchester in mid Hampshire. This area is known for its group of five villages and four small hamlets, making it a truly distinctive location. In 1929, a buried crypt church was discovered in Chilton Candover, built on top of the original crypt and 12th-century burial place. The church, known as the Church of St. Andrew, was pulled down in 1875, and the crypt was lost until its discovery in 1929. An annual service is conducted at the site to maintain its consecrated status. Willow, who grew up in a small village called Brown Candover, had her encounter when she was around 10 years old. While biking past old farm buildings, she felt an inexplicable urge to stop. As she looked into an old stable and cattle yard building, she saw a creature she could only describe as a werewolf. The creature was very tall, skinny, and had dog-like legs, black eyes, a long and thin nose, black rubbery or leathery skin, and sparse black hair. After freezing in place, the creature stood up on its hind legs and effortlessly jumped through a window about 2 meters high. Willow's account is particularly interesting because she returned to the site the next day and noticed distinct barefoot human footprints in the mud. She couldn't explain their presence, as there was nothing to visit on the property. As she grew up, Willow never told anyone about her encounter, but she would sometimes sense the creature's presence at night, which unsettled her. BBR Investigations has connected Willow's experience to other reports in the area, including a witness from the 1970s who described something similar sprinting over a car and disappearing, and a couple who saw a large black creature slither across the road. These reports suggest that there may be a connection between the crypt's discovery and the creature's presence in the area. I am excited to share this video with our readers and encourage you to watch it for yourself. The story of Willow's encounter and the other reports from the area provide fascinating insights into the world of UK Dogmen and the potential connections between ancient sites and cryptid activity.
