In a recent video from the YouTube channel Bigfoot Outlaw, host Grizzly sits down with special guest Elijah Henderson of the Crypted Studies Institute. Elijah, who hails from Clarksville, Tennessee, shares his family's history of passing down stories of "wild men" and Bigfoot in the hills of East Tennessee. His father, who grew up in Dayton, Tennessee, heard strange hollers in the woods as a child, which he now believes were actually Sasquatch calls.
Elijah's own fascination with monsters and the supernatural began at a young age, when his cousin claimed to have seen a Sasquatch carrying a dead deer across the road. But it was a camping trip to Montgomery Bell State Park in Dixon County, Kentucky, that really ignited his interest in Bigfoot. While watching a documentary about "werewolf Springs" in the park, Elijah and his family learned about a legend of a circus train derailment in the 1860s, which resulted in a male and female "wild man" or "wolf man" escaping into the woods.
Elijah and his family decided to visit the location of the supposed werewolf sightings, and while hiking, they discovered several anomalies, including a twisted and broken branch and a half-ring of turkey feathers. Although some members of the group had to cut the hike short due to inclement weather and the call of nature, Elijah and his father continued on, determined to uncover more evidence of the elusive creature.
I am always excited to hear new stories and perspectives on the search for Bigfoot. Elijah's personal connection to the legend and his family's history of passing down stories of "wild men" adds a unique and interesting layer to the search. I encourage all of our readers to check out the full video on the Bigfoot Outlaw YouTube channel and to continue exploring the world of Bigfoot with an open mind.
