A recent video posted on the Southern Utah Bigfoot Association's YouTube channel has caught the attention of Bigfoot enthusiasts and researchers alike. The video features a firsthand account from a woman who claims to have had a Bigfoot encounter in New Harmony, Utah.
According to the woman, she and her family had just moved to New Harmony from California, where they had previously experienced some strange occurrences. On their first night in town, they heard a series of loud, eerie screams coming from the hills. The woman described the sounds as a mix between a dog, a cow, and a person, only much larger and more powerful.
The woman's partner initially dismissed the sounds as cows, as New Harmony is a rural farming community. But the woman insisted that something was off about the noises. She described them as sounding like they were being deliberately provoked and mimicked.
A few nights later, the woman heard more strange sounds coming from her yard. This time, she heard the breaking of branches and what sounded like a large animal running along the creek. She estimated that the creature moved roughly 100 yards in just 5 seconds.
The woman also reported finding fresh tracks and tree breaks in the area, as well as the remains of a deer with all the meat removed. She described the tracks as being over two times the size of her own, and noted that they appeared to have a longer second toe.
The Southern Utah Bigfoot Association received a similar report around the same time, describing a large, three-toed creature that had been seen in the area. The association notes that while sightings are not common in southern Utah, they do occasionally receive reports of strange sounds and tracks.
I am always excited to hear about new encounters and reports. This video is particularly intriguing due to the multiple witnesses and the detailed description of the creature's tracks and behavior. I encourage all Bigfoot enthusiasts to check out the Southern Utah Bigfoot Association's YouTube channel and watch the video for yourself.
