Pennsylvania Boys' Tree Fort Besieged by Mysterious Red-Eyed Creature

A chilling tale of a close encounter with the unknown comes to us from Pennsylvania, as shared in an email to the YouTube channel Base Camp Chris. The story takes place in 1981, when the witness, Dave, was just eight years old. Dave and his father were building a tree fort in their backyard, which bordered a forest. Dave was excited to spend the night in the tree fort with his cousin Peter, and they settled in for the night, chatting and enjoying each other's company. As the night grew late, they began to hear strange noises coming from the forest behind the tree fort. At first, they thought it might be Dave's uncle playing a prank on them, but as the noises grew louder and closer, they realized something else was going on. They heard trees swaying and branches breaking, and then a tree crashed into the roof of the tree fort. Peter bravely shined a flashlight out of the window and saw two red eyes staring back at him. The two boys were terrified and huddled under their sleeping bags for the rest of the night. When they finally emerged from the tree fort in the morning, they were relieved to find that their fathers had not been playing a prank on them. Dave later learned that there had been stories of a white Bigfoot in the neighboring county.
