A new and chilling encounter has been shared on the YouTube channel BIGFOOT! / William Jevning, and it's leaving many viewers, including myself, feeling both intrigued and spooked. In this episode of "Bigfoot and Fred," titled "Creek Devil," a man named Fred recounts his terrifying experience with a creature he believes to be a Bigfoot. Fred's encounter took place 23 years ago, while he was taking a walk in the Redstone area, near North Conway. The woods were alive with the sounds of birds and squirrels until, suddenly, everything fell silent. As Fred explains, "My grandmother had always told me if you're in the woods or anywhere and you don't hear noises, you know, nature sounds, you're in trouble." As he cautiously looked around, Fred spotted the creature about 150 feet away. He described it as being around 13 to 14 feet tall, with a width of about 5 1/2 feet. The creature was pitch black and had a conical head. The hair on its body was shorter, while its arms and legs had longer hair. Fred couldn't make out the facial details clearly, but he noticed that the face was a different color than the rest of the body. The creature was scratching its back on a telephone pole, making deep grunting sounds. Fred, feeling both scared and curious, observed the creature for what seemed like an eternity before deciding to leave the area. As he walked away, he heard animal noises return, signaling that it was safe to run. What makes Fred's encounter particularly interesting is that his grandmother had a similar experience when she was younger. She described the creature as a "devil man" or "wood devil" with red hair. Her encounter took place in Effingham Falls, about half an hour away by car. Fred's story is a chilling reminder of the mysterious and elusive nature of Bigfoot.
