In a recent video from the Galactic Historian YouTube channel, hosts Laura Massie, Amy Cruik, and Andrew Bart interview paranormal investigator Deborah Hatswell about her experiences with the paranormal, specifically UFOs and hauntings. Deborah shares a particularly intriguing case she recently worked on involving a house on the Lincolnshire Coastline in a small village called Sutton Bridge.
The house, built in the 1830s, has a long history of strange occurrences, with the current owner, Chrissy, experiencing activity since moving in 23 years ago. Chrissy's son, who has autism, began drawing dark images, and her older son saw a dark figure in his room. These occurrences prompted Deborah to delve deeper into the house's history.
Chrissy revealed that her family had lived in the house when she was a baby, but they had to leave due to her constant fear. Deborah discovered that a shipwreck with nine people on board occurred near the house around the same time as Chrissy's family lived there. This revelation led Deborah to believe that there might be a connection between the shipwreck and the house's haunted past.
Deborah also shared a video taken from the house's CCTV system, which captured strange shadows, light orbs, and even a handprint on a door frame. The audio from the CCTV captured garbled voices and the sound of rushing water, further adding to the mystery of the house.
As a paranormal investigator, Deborah focuses on working with the witnesses and their experiences rather than proving the existence of ghosts or hauntings. In this case, she is working with Chrissy and her family to understand and cope with the strange occurrences in their home.
