A thrilling account of a possible Sasquatch encounter has been shared on the YouTube channel "Sasquatch And The Wild." In the video titled "Bigfooting 101, Yellowstone National Park Part 2: This Adventure Almost Ended Me," the channel's owner, Petrick, recounts his experience of discovering what appears to be a carefully constructed trap in the woods.
Petrick and his companion were exploring Yellowstone National Park when they stumbled upon a turnoff leading to a lake. Petrick decided to investigate and ventured down the path, leaving his companion in the car with the keys. As he walked, he noticed a large number of baby Aspen trees and a downed tree with sharpened branches.
The tree had no visible root ball, and Petrick found it odd that there was no divot or sign of where the tree had come from. As he walked around the tree, he noticed another downed tree with sharpened branches on the other side. The branches were honed to a sharp point, and Petrick noted that they were long enough to impale anyone who stepped on them.
Petrick then heard heavy footfalls coming from the outside of the area. He couldn't see anything, but he could hear the footsteps getting closer. He describes the sound as a "really big grizzly bear" or a Sasquatch. Petrick became worried as he realized he was trapped in the small clearing with no escape route.
As the footsteps got closer, Petrick made his way back to the tree he had crossed earlier and slowly made his way across it, trying to avoid the sharpened branches. He was able to make it back to safety, but the experience left him shaken.
This video is a fascinating account of a possible Sasquatch encounter and the potential dangers of exploring the wilderness. It's a reminder to always be aware of your surroundings and to have a plan in case of an emergency.
