Bigfoot Sighting in Caesar, NC: Man Encounters Mystery Creature

A man in Northern Cleveland County, North Carolina, claims to have had not one, but two encounters with Bigfoot on his property. The incidents occurred on June 5, 2010, and were reported to the police. The man, Tim Peeler, described the creature as large and intimidating, and he took action to protect his dogs, who were in heat and may have attracted the Bigfoot. According to Peeler, he first saw the Bigfoot when he went outside to check on his dogs. He heard coyotes fighting and went back inside to grab what he thought were collars to catch them. However, when he returned outside, he saw a figure in the shadows across his yard. Peeler approached the figure with a large stick and a swamp light, and when he got close enough, he saw that it was a Bigfoot. He extended the stick and told the creature to get away. The Bigfoot then ran across the yard and disappeared into the woods. Five minutes later, Peeler's dogs started barking again. This time, Peeler went out the back door to surprise the creature. He found the Bigfoot in the same spot, by the dog kennel. The dog had a chain on, and was running around in panic, causing the metal chain to wrap around the Bigfoot's legs. Peeler approached the Bigfoot again and told it to get away. This time, he punched the creature. The Bigfoot then ran into the woods, and Peeler went back inside. Peeler called the police to report the incidents and to ask how quickly an officer could get to his property. The audio from the call has been released by the Cleveland County Communications Center and can be heard in the video. In the call, Peeler sounds sober and clear-headed, and he emphasizes that he did not shoot the creature.
