The witness, an assistant caretaker for the Sierra Club Foundation, heard footsteps around the hut and initially thought it was the regular caretaker playing a prank. However, when no one answered his calls, he grew suspicious and prepared himself for a confrontation. That's when he saw a massive silhouette, unlike anything human, moving in front of his tent. The witness describes the creature as standing about 6 feet 3 inches tall and having a human-like face. The final sighting takes place in Southern California, San Diego County, near Oak Grove. This tale is a bit different from the others, as it involves a monster known as the "Monster of Dead Man's Hole." The story dates back to the 1800s and involves several mysterious disappearances and deaths in the area. In 1888, two hunters, Edward Dean and Charles Cox, reported seeing a creature that resembled a bear from the back but had a human face. The hunters fired at the creature, and after it fell to the ground, they found it had human teeth and feet covered in black hair.
