Hallenbeck Family's Chilling Bigfoot Encounters in Kinderhook, NY

A family in Kinderhook, New York has been terrorized by what they claim to be a Bigfoot creature for several years. The Hallenbecks, who have had multiple encounters with the unknown being, first became aware of its presence in late 1979. Bruce Hallenbeck's cousin was trapping muskrats near a stream at the bottom of Cushing's hill when he saw three creatures crossing the stream. They had reddish-brown hair all over their bodies and were walking upright, making grunting and clacking sounds. After sharing this experience with his grandmother, she revealed that she had seen a similar creature lying in the yard near their home the previous year. The family began to suspect that the creature was responsible for unexplained events around the house, such as trash being scattered in the yard.
