In a chilling video posted to the YouTube channel Old Hillbilly Horror, a former park ranger shares their harrowing encounter with what they believe to be a Sasquatch. The ranger, who worked at Alony State Park in New York from 2003 to 2008, recounts their experience from the 4th of July weekend in 2007. On that day, the ranger was assigned to the Eastern side of the park to staff the entrance booth and hiking trails. As they were helping several groups of people with various issues, they noticed it was getting darker than usual. The ranger then decided to check the woods to the west of the picnic area, where they encountered a 7-8 foot tall creature made of ferns and skin, resembling a mixture of bear and human. The ranger, terrified, raised their radio to call for help, but the creature let out a terrifying growl and lunged at them. They managed to escape and reach the open meadow area, where a shot rang out and the creature retreated. The ranger was helped up by the on-call ranger and walked back to the booth, sustaining an injury during the fall. The two rangers agreed to keep quiet about the incident to avoid any professional retribution or potential career setbacks. In another account, a former Italian army soldier recounts their encounter with a creature in Bano in December 1986. The soldier was strolling through the city when they felt as if they were being stared at. They turned to see a beast just a meter away, with cold blue eyes. The beast then turned into a 40-something woman wearing a fur coat, who smiled at the soldier with the same cold blue eyes. The soldier ran away as fast as they could and didn't look back. These stories are a chilling reminder of the mysterious and elusive nature of Sasquatch. While some may dismiss these accounts as mere urban legends, others believe that there is more to these stories than meets the eye. As Bigfoot believers, we encourage our readers to watch the video and decide for themselves. Who knows, you may have your own Sasquatch encounter one day.
