Missouri Hunter's Chilling Encounter with a Mushroom-Foraging Bigfoot in 1993

In a recent video from the YouTube channel Sasquatch Theory, host Miguel interviews Dennis, a man from Sweet Springs, Missouri who had a close encounter with a Bigfoot while mushroom hunting. Dennis has lived on a farm in the area all his life and has heard stories of a creature known as the "chicken man" or the "blind Pony monster" that was known to steal chickens and was even reported in the local paper. During his own encounter in 1993, Dennis was mushroom hunting and saw a massive, blackish-gray creature that he estimates was around 8 feet tall. The creature had a flat face, dark eyes, and a crest at the top of its head. It was standing by a tree and when it made eye contact with Dennis, it immediately turned and walked away. Dennis was left frozen in place, unable to move for several minutes. Dennis didn't tell anyone about his encounter for years, but as he learned more about Bigfoot research, he decided to share his story. He also mentioned that he has heard strange vocalizations and wood knocks while mushroom hunting, and even found a "nest" like area by a creek.
