Shannon, along with two friends, was out hunting Bobcats on a cloudy day when they had an unexpected encounter. As they were driving through a heavily wooded pasture, something massive and muscular emerged from the woods, walking on all fours. The creature was covered in gray fur and had well-defined back muscles. Shannon and her friend were able to observe it for six to seven seconds before it disappeared into the woods. The witness described the creature as looking and moving like a gorilla, and it was estimated to weigh between 150 to 175 pounds. This sighting is particularly interesting as Shannon's friend had a similar encounter in the same area in 1999, where they heard a scream that sounded like a Bigfoot. Years later, in 2008, another Bigfoot encounter was reported in Ardmore, Oklahoma. A family was out riding four-wheelers in a park when the youngest member, a 7-year-old boy, had a close encounter with a creature that resembled a monkey with long hair. The creature was as tall as the boy's father's chest and had long hair all over its body. The family was puzzled by the encounter and couldn't figure out what they had seen.
