In a recent video from The View, actor Jesse Eisenberg discusses his latest film, "Sasquatch Sunset," where he plays a member of a Bigfoot family. With no dialogue and incredible makeup, Eisenberg had to emote solely through physicality, a challenge he embraced.
The film follows the daily life of this Bigfoot family, and according to Eisenberg, viewers will feel connected to the characters as if they're watching people. Sara Haines commented on the movie's unique ability to make audiences feel this way, even without dialogue.
Eisenberg also shared his experience at a Sasquatch boot camp, where he learned how to move and make sounds like a Bigfoot. This immersive preparation helped him get into character and deliver a captivating performance.
In addition to the boot camp, Eisenberg visited the Ape Initiative in Des Moines, Iowa, to show the film to Kanzi, the world's smartest ape. Kanzi's reaction to the movie was intense, and Eisenberg was told it was a display of dominance rather than annoyance.
"Sasquatch Sunset" opens in select theaters on April 12th and nationwide on April 19th. As a Bigfoot enthusiast, I highly recommend watching this unique film to see how Eisenberg brings a Sasquatch to life. You might even recognize some of the emotions and movements as human-like, making this a fascinating and thought-provoking cinematic experience.
