In 2002, the family of one of Jerry Crew's deceased co-workers, Ray Wallace, revealed that Wallace had been secretly making and planting large wooden feet to create the giant footprints. Despite this revelation, many believe that the Sasquatch is a real creature and that the footprints found by Crew and his co-workers are evidence of its existence.
