A new video has recently surfaced on YouTube, and it's causing quite a stir in the Bigfoot community. The video, posted by The UnXplained Zone, claims to show footage of the elusive yowie, Australia's version of Bigfoot. The video was taken in May 2021 at Springbrook National Park in Queensland, where researchers have reportedly seen signs of yowie activity in the past. The thermal imaging footage appears to show a solitary figure hiding behind a tree, before two large creatures emerge and one bends down to pick something up. Field researcher Cliff Barkman, who has studied the yowie in Australia, says the footage aligns with descriptions from indigenous peoples going back centuries. However, zoologist Roxxy Ferman suggests that the figures could be humans wearing headlamps, creating a heat signature that makes their heads appear cone-shaped. But anthropologist Kathy Strain disagrees. She visited the site where the footage was taken and measured the tree in the video, estimating that whatever is depicted in the footage is over 8 feet tall. Strain believes this could be one of the most significant films taken in at least 50 years and that science should pay attention. Of course, as with any Bigfoot or yowie footage, there is always the possibility of a hoax. But the size of the figures in this video, as well as the consistency of their movement, has many in the Bigfoot community intrigued. If you're a Bigfoot believer, this video is definitely worth checking out. Who knows, it could be the proof we've all been waiting for.
