A few days ago, I stumbled upon an intriguing video on YouTube from the channel SheSquatchers Official. The video features an interview with a man named Louis Woolsey, a dedicated Bigfoot researcher from California. Louis has been actively researching Bigfoot since 2010, inspired by his uncle's sighting when he was just six years old. He has discovered a particularly active area, the size of half a football field, where Bigfoots sleep and roam. This area is located near the San Luis Ray river, in San Diego County, close to the Riverside County border. During the interview, Louis shares an incredible story from one of his early expeditions. He had been camping in the area for three days without any sightings or encounters. On the third day, as he was waiting for a ride, he decided to take a look down from the bridge. Suddenly, he heard a loud noise coming from the trees. Something had broken a tree, and it sounded so close that it made him freeze in fear. He quickly hid his belongings behind some boulders and started walking towards the La Hoya Indian reservation, where there were emergency yellow phones due to the lack of cell service. A week later, Louis returned to the same area with his uncle, who was unaware of the previous encounter. They heard what sounded like Chinese or Samurai voices for about half an hour. Later that night, they heard footsteps and rustling noises coming from behind a large rock near the creek. A Bigfoot had appeared, crossing the creek and knocking on a tree before disappearing. The next day, Louis measured the distance between the rock and the tree, counting the number of steps it took for him to cover the same distance. To his surprise, it took him over 15 steps to reach the tree, while the Bigfoot had taken only seven. Louis' story is a fascinating account of a close encounter with a Bigfoot. His dedication to researching and documenting his experiences is truly inspiring.
